dottie's delights is an homage to my grandmother, Dorothy Kuhr. I've always had a affinity to a vintage aesthetic ever since I can remember. I decided to bring this love to the next level by going to school for fashion design, receiving my education at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City and then the School of the Art Institute of Chicago for my BFA. I have worked in the theater and performance art fields, as well as freelance costume and apparel design. All custom work is sewn by me, I do have some help with the in-stock collections, but everything is still lovingly handmade in Chicago, IL.
