About the Artist
Jo Ann Manzone’s love of fiber art began at age ten when she learned how to knit and sew. Her mother and grandmother were talented and patient teachers of these special crafts.
Over the years, Jo Ann has pursued her passion for fiber art by seeking new ways to utilize her felting, handknitting, crochet and weaving skills to create fabric, which she transforms into clothing and accessories. Her newest work includes needle felted memory caches and nuno felted habotai silk scarves and wraps.

Silks such as habotai or china silk are my favorites as well as silk gauze for nuno felting, Organic yarns are my first choice, novelty and nubby textured yarns are fun to work with as well as chunky wools
