Greetings!
My name is Adva Bruner, i was born in Tel-Aviv on October 9th 1974.
I am a textile designer and i have great passion for colors ,textures and traditional crafts.
During one of many journeys across the globe ,i have found myself in a small Guatemalan village surrounded by beautiful Mayan women who taught me the secrets of their traditional weaving.That was the beginning of my romance with textile.
During my studies at the prestigious SHENKAR COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING & DESIGN ,i mastered in knitting but experienced in many other techniques such as printing ,felting ,weaving and dyeing fabrics. since then for the last 6 years i have been designing & developing my own fabrics to use for my clothes and accessories under my brand DUENDE.
My main inspiration comes from traveling and meeting interesting people as well as small miracles that wait along the way everyday, just beneath my eyes.
It is very important to me to make sure the raw materials i use were produced by people who get fair employment conditions, like my own employees do.
My goal is to deliver affordable ,high quality women clothing.I try to stand out by creating very comfortable shapes and using soft fabrics that will feel almost like a part of the body.
