My name is Ellen, but I prefer my nickname of Ema. I have been known to claim the job title of Life Planner on various applications I have to fill out. Basically there is nothing I won't do. My most important role is Mom to three boys, ranging in age from 8 - 17 (yikes am I really that old). I have a myriad of other responsiblities as wife, bookkeeper for my self employed husband, and so on......but my endeavor of creating and selling my work is high on my list.

As my children have grown older I find I need an outlet for my life long passion in the arts and crafts. Call it what you like but I consider myself an artist. My goal is to make a living selling my handmade designs.

I am a self representing glass artist creating my lampwork glass from my home based studio. My favorite place to be is sitting behind my torch letting my mind wander in the creative process. Forming glass into something other than what it began as is a very gratifying experience. It can be meditative at times. This is where I would spend all of my time if I actually could. I truly love what I do. My creations are usually original one of a kind beads, which I often incorporate into jewelry. I also love to craft wine stoppers and wine charms.
