When I was pregnant with our first child, I wanted a beautiful Baptismal gown that would be an heirloom for my children's children. I began my search for the perfect gown, and found nothing that was beautifully made and worthy of this great occasion.

Everything in "ready to wear" was made of synthetic fabrics-polyester and polyester blends- with little or no detailing.
Certainly not something pretty that I would hope would last for many years to come!

It has come to be my philosophy that you cannot make an exquisite garment with inferior or cheap materials. I only use the very best, top-of-the-line fabrics/trims/findings. This results in a gown or gift that takes your breath away!
