Eleanor Mayrhofer's Profile

About

I'm Eleanor Mayrhofer, the daughter of a letterpress printer and a California native currently residing in Munich, Germany.

e.m.papers originally stood for "Eleanor and Molly Papers" It was started by me, Eleanor Reagh (my maiden name) and Molly Hart as a wedding invitation business over 10 years ago. We also couldn't our heads around the business of printing, distributing and selling stationery. The designing part was the most fun, the rest...not so much.

While my job has subsidized a nice life in Europe and a lot of great experiences in my early professional life, It has provided fewer and fewer opportunities to design anything that is personally meaningful to me. So after a 10 year hiatus, we decided it was time to give e.m.papers another go and bring it online and selling only the design in the form of printables. Coming up with designs for e.m. papers has also become a family affair as my aunt, Elizabeth Reagh, has added many of her stellar designs into the mix.
