I have been making beaded and knitted wire jewellery for over 10 years and love the whole process from conceptualising a piece to seeing the final product. I really enjoy knitting with wire and making contempory jewellery with a technique that has been around since Egyptian times!

I began experimenting with wire knitting while studying textiles and developed my love of beads and wire work while spending a year in South Africa, where you can find the most amazing items almost anywhere! I feel the African influence still comes through in my work, particularly as I'm lucky enough to return to South Africa every few years due to having a South African husband (who pushed me to start selling my work in the first place)!
