About

Tess Harriss has been designing clothing and accessories nearly all her life. She worked for many years in the fashion industry in Chicago before marrying an Englishman and moving to the UK in 2003. About

Tess Harriss has been designing clothing and accessories nearly all her life. She worked for many years in the fashion industry in Chicago before marrying an Englishman and moving to the UK in 2003. She launched her clothing and accessories line made from recycled materials in 2008 under the name Everlasting Life Fashions.

She designed several pairs of shoes to accessorise the clothing line for a fashion show in 2010 and they were such a hit that she has been focusing on the shoe line exclusively since that time. She has now taken a special interest in designing bridal shoes and brides all around the world have responded enthusiastically to her personalized design service. She felt there was an opening in the bridal market for a designer who could provide a bespoke service with more options than the standard dyeable silk colour choices. Her clients have the option of sending her something personal and meaningful to encorporate into the design. Many of her brides have sent her a piece of lace from their mother's wedding gown or buttons from their grandmother's gown. Some have sent her beads or vintage jewellery pieces to work in with the other embellishments for a completely bespoke and perfectly original design. Some brides have told her they consider the shoes she’s made for them as family heirlooms that they will pass down to their daughters.

With her focus on her bridal shoe designs she decided on a more appropriate name for her business, which is TLC Creations because it represents the kind of care and attention she gives to every pair of shoes she makes.

She has now relocated back to her home town in Illinois and is busy expanding her business in the US.
