~A BIT ABOUT ME~
Hi! I'm an "empty nest" Mom, with 3 grown and gone kids. I'm a new Grandma, as of Sept. 26, of a sweet little boy. I'm proud of all 3 kids. Our youngest is in the Navy, so I'm very aware of how much anyone in the Military does for their country, and am proud of them and their families.
I started sewing in homemaking class (do they even have homemaking classes anymore??) in high school in the early 60's, and made clothing for me and my family for years. In the early 90's, the quilting bug bit me hard, and has never stopped. I also had a brick and mortar quilt shop for awhile. Now, my love of fabric has led me to selling fabric on-line.
I do want to tell you about Quilts of Valor, my favorite foundation to give quilts to. You can go to http://qovf.org to read all about it, but basically, its about giving lap quilts...
