I was nicknamed "Fairy Nana" by my eldest granddaughter, and I consider myself to be one of the luckiest people I know...able to fill my days with creating fairy outfits designed to make the people who wear them feel enchanting and magical.

Making Faerie costumes was actually one of the silver linings that came out of a stroke I had several years ago after which a physical therapist encouraged me to sew in order to regain the fine motor control in my right hand. Once I'd mastered some rather rudimentary skills I made a princess skirt for my granddaughter's birthday, and the rest - as they say - is history ! Although The disease process that caused my stroke continues and I am now legally blind, I manage to continue creating whatever faeriewear I am able and love every moment of it!

Please take note: I no longer do custom designs through Etsy. The reason for this is simple: In the time it takes me to do one custom designed order I can easily complete six regular costumes/outfits and since a portion of my proceeds go directly to the Fairy Nana Project I cannot afford to continue with custom designs.
