They say one man's trash is another man's treasure. Using found objects, recycled paper and repurposed materials like vintage fabric, wrapping paper, old magazines, ribbons, and ordinary household junk, Felix and Paco create unique, stylish eclectica for home and person.

ABOUT US:

I'm a young housewife and full-time mother who doesn't have a lot of time on her hands but does have a lot of creative energy to burn off. Prior to starting a family with my very patient husband, I experimented with a wide variety of jobs, from waiting tables to assisting a pair of criminal defense attorneys to working as a freelance writer. But nothing has been as fulfilling as the simple joy of *making* things. So here I am on Etsy, trying to sell the things I make to people who have an appreciation for the eclectic, the vaguely humorous. the slightly weird, the offbeat aesthetic that forms the basis of my signature style.

But who are Felix and Paco? Felix is a baby and Paco is a young chihuahua. Felix's giggly, sunny disposition offsets Paco's natural yet endearing surliness, and together they are the inspiration for our line of strange but appealing handmade items. Bright colors and busy patterns go well with cool, sleek forms and I like to combine them often. My favorite techniques are decoupage and mixed media adornment, and I hope to explore the possibility of selling my photography soon as well.

Everything we sell is carefully constructed in our upstate New York farmhouse, with a random assortment of music playing in the background and, most likely, a cold cup of really excellent coffee sitting nearby.
