Welcome to Felt Meets Cloth; my name is Abigail and I'm an artist who works with cloth, thread and fibre.
I have a very British love of sitting down with a nice cup of tea no matter what time of day it is. You will often find me in my studio in East London, kettle on the boil, hands engaged with some stitch or felting process.
I merge scraps of fabric with handmade felt, I use mono print techniques, rubber stamping and natural dyes to build layers and surfaces on fabrics and I stitch them all down to each other to create cloth collages.
