I started collecting vintage kitchenware, when my Mother and Grandmother passed away. My mother was close to 90 years old, and my grandmother was 99 years old. Both love to cook, and so do I. My mother and grandmother had lots of vintage kitchenware, but many had missing pieces :(. To me these pieces were beautiful works of art , of superior quality and craftsmanship. I researched vintage kitchenware, and than went on a mission to find the missing pieces to complete my set. Then family and friends, ask me to pieces together sets for them.
When I host dinner for family and friends, its a tradition that we cook together. Sometimes we are up all nite cooking and visiting. I especially, enjoy using my vintage kitchenware for preparing the meal and setting the table. It really makes it a special festive occasion. And, the compliments I get are great too. It's often said " I remember my mother or grandmother...
