About
I first got interested in expressing myself creatively when I attended an alternative middle school and majored in art in seventh and eighth grade (THANK YOU Ms. Denison!) In high school, as soon as I got my driver’s license, I started frequenting the bead stores around Ohio and making my own jewelry. And was encouraged by my high school art teacher , Mrs. Karshner, to attend Ohio University. As a college student and young professional, I continued making my own jewelry out of necessity. Teachers are overwhelmingly underpaid but I’m sure you know that!
I still work full time in the education field but I need an outlet for my creative energies! My mother also heavily influences me; she is very creative and crafty. We often sell our work at craft shows in Columbus, Ohio. After being approached with offers to buy my jewelry, I decided to take a chance and try selling it online.
