As you can see from my shop, plastic bottle caps serve as the backdrop to what I like to think of as miniature mixed media collages. I work primarily with recycled materials such as discarded toys and trinkets or anything at all that I can find for a bargain price so I can create an affordable piece. I have always been one for wearing a different piece of jewelry every day. Sometimes I wear sophisticated pieces and sometimes I wear earthy pieces and sometimes I wear just plain silly pieces. Whatever seems to suit my mood that particular day is what I put on - as long as it goes with my outfit anyway! With my bottle cap pieces I am mostly looking to evoke a bit of humor.
