Jewelry from the gnomeworks is hand-crafted and one of a kind, made in Kansas City, Missouri.

Why gnomeworks? The shop is named for two species of tiny people in fantasy: woodland gnomes, who are close to the earth and delight in natural materials, and tinker gnomes, who are driven to always be making and inventing. Add those things together, you get an idea of what gnomeworks jewelry is about. Also, I'm pretty diminutive, and my workshop often looks like something exploded in it, so it seems to fit.

Why jewelry? I started making jewelry in the late 1990s as a hobby, because I had developed serious fine motor tremors due to a health condition. I wanted to take up something that would teach me to work with around the shakes, so that I wouldn't lose all my fine motor control.
