Welcome to Green Earth Images!

I’m Jennifer and nature photography is my passion. I’m 100% self-taught; I haven’t taken any professional classes but have read lots, admired many and spent countless hours and thousands of shots trying to hone my craft.

I am very fortunate to live in Colorado and spend a lot of time in the Southwest where I am continually inspired, but like to find inspiration in all things, no matter where I am.

As you’ll see from my photos, macro – or close-up – photography is my favorite genre in which to shoot. I just love shooting the finer details of our natural surroundings. Mother Nature provides endless opportunities to do so and I am in constant awe of this green earth.

I also try to capture the essence of the places I visit, so you’ll also see pictures of old architecture and ancient statues as well as street scenes from around town. I capture whatever intrigues me.
