I love creating things and am always looking around for new ideas. Fabric shops are dangerous places for me as interesting textures and patterns are hard to resist, not to mention the buttons! However, I also love thrift stores and repurposing/upcycling fabric and clothing into my projects. I sometimes enjoy thinking that the previous owner of a shirt or other item might get a kick out of what it has become in its next life. (Of course I always wash things thoroughly before working with them.) Many times, my latest acquisitions have become something new before the next morning as I'm a night owl and have a hard time setting projects aside before they are finished - even for something as important as sleep.
