My love of yarn started at eight when my grandmother first took me to crochet lessons. I picked up knitting in the fall of 2007--self-taught from a DVD initially. I kept at it, and it finally occurred to me that this was my thing, that I could happily see myself knitting for the rest of my life. I get so much joy watching each new project come off the needles, and I love playing with color and new patterns.
