Helen G Beads is owned and run by me, Helen Gorick. I trained as a silversmith and jeweller at Plymouth College of Art & Design from 1990. Following the approval for a Princes Trust loan I started in business and supplied various galleries across the UK with contemporary jewellery in silver and gold. The natural progression was a gallery of my own, Argentium, which opened during 2001 showcasing the work of over 30 different jewellery designers as well as glassware, ceramics, textiles and more. Sadly due to serious illness I was forced to close the gallery and it was during my recovery period that I discovered the colourful world of lampwork beads. Today I work from my garden studio producing glass beads and jewellery and teaching this wondeful craft fulltime and enjoy every minute.
