About

I'm currently a crochet instructor at my LYS. I love seeing my students when they have their 'A-Ha!' moments.

I learned to crochet 15 years ago, when I wanted to make a baby blanket for my daughter. Many baby blankets, sweaters, afghans, and scarves later, here I am.

I love to try new patterns and yarns. The feeling of finally 'getting' a complicated new pattern is well worth all the ripping out, muttering, grumbling and sighing.

I grew up with embroidery: crewelwork, needlepoint and counted cross stitch - all of which I still like to do occasionally.
