my name is cal. i am a maker and designer and teacher. i sew, crochet, spin, embroider, knit, print, dye and more. hodge podge is my line of handmade one-off clothing and accessories for people and dogs. i am assisted by my trusty sidekick, gertie, who is mostly in charge of P.R. and modeling.

we live on a mini-farm where we raise chickens and grow lots of vegetables and fruits. this is all very new but as the farm progresses, i hope to provide more of the raw materials for my pieces here on the farm...
