I am a peruvian knitwear designer based in NYC.
Hortensia handmade was started three years ago by myself, my mother and two other knitters. The line consists of knits such as tunics, dresses, ponchos & capes. The accessories consist of hats, scarves, knitcollars, handwarmers and other fun pieces.
Every piece is entirely handmade using 100% alpaca wool.
We have grown into a small coop of knitters all based in Peru.
Hortensia Handmade also provides work to other group of knitters in Lima & Arequipa.
