I'm a stay at home Mom to three kids under the age of 4. As you can imagine, things can get a little crazy. I sew to keep myself sane! The funny thing is, I used to not like sewing. Even funnier, I still don't like it all that much :). I do however, LOVE creating and designing. That's where the real fun happens!!

For now, I am the head (only) designer, seamstress, and picture taker. It's because of this and the fact that I have 3 little ones underfoot my turnaround times can get pretty long. My best advice is order WAY ahead of when you need something. I often extend my turnaround times as my work increases.

Did I mention I'm obsessed with quality work?? Oh...I totally am. If you asked any of my customers about Jacks & Kate products, I'd bet the first thing they would mention is, "quality." I have ordered many things online only to be disappointed in the craftsmanship. Yep...I'm a stickler for quality and detail!

My other obsession...FABRIC!! I could order fabric all day long and be happy. My favorite part about designing a bag is picking out the fabrics. You might think I just throw a bunch of fabrics together and call it a bag. Nope. Each fabric is carefully and purposefully chosen. To not specifically match colors and patterns is a pretty intricate process. This takes the longest of all my tasks. The longest I've ever spent designing a bag: 1 week.

And still yet another obsession??? I'm 100% emphatically obsessed with the show, "Prison Break" or is it Wentworth Miller :) ? Yes, I know it's an old show. Edited to add "Mad Men" to my tv obsessions!

A little bit about me. I was named after Steve Garvey's (famous baseball player of the 70's) daughter Krisha. My name still gets pronounced wrong on a daily basis. It's like TRISHA, but with a K. I have one little sister with a "normal" name. I'm still great friends with my High School girlfriends. My best friend is about 9 months older than me, and I never let her forget it. My favorite color is brown. The most requested color I get asked NOT to use in my designs is brown. Ha! I adore chocolate and love my TIVO. I absolutely cannot stand touch screen phones..argh!! I live in Florida and love the beach. I NEVER just jump into the water, because duh there could be a shark waiting for me. "JAWS" much?? I find inspiration for my designs everywhere. But mostly, I'm inspired by my three little loves, Jackson (Jacks), Savannah Kate (Kate), and Annabelle. They are without a doubt, my best and most favorite creations. Love them!
