I've always had an interest in functional design. When I was a kid I wanted to do special effects in movies. Well, that did not happen. Instead I ended up making really cool websites for people. But I missed getting my hands dirty and started making jewellery in 2004.
My favourite pastimes are macro photography and fossil hunting. I'm a bit of a science nut and cannot stop reading about ancient history – and it all finds it's way into my jewelry.
About me - I love to travel and experience new places and cultures - I've lived in 4 countries but I'm back in South Africa after 9 years in Europe - I love my chasing hammer and playing with fire – that'll be my torch - I'm married to my soul mate - I'm a rock hound - I have to make things otherwise I get grumpy

Ancient history inspired
Anat Anat is a warrior goddess and appears as a wild and furious warrior in battle. The large copper and bronze pieces are inspired by armour - made for fearless fashionable women
Artemis Artemis of the wild land and depicted as a huntress seemed like a fitting name for these beautiful, slightly wild-looking copper and enamel necklaces.
Demeter Demeter is the goddess of the harvest and presided over grains and fertility. Beautiful enamel colours are coupled with wire-wrapping that reminds me of ancient jewelry I've seen in museums.
Eos Titan goddess of the dawn seemed an appropriate name for bracelets, earrings and necklaces with the orange and gold tones bronze and copper give you. They remind me of the rising sun.
Isis The Egyptian feel of the design is enhanced by the gold colour of using bronze and spirals.
Pandora Although she got a bad wrap for being known as person who opened Pandora's jar - mistranslated as box - and releasing all the evils of mankind – she opened it out of curiosity and not malice. Pandora were also offered 'seductive gifts' by the gods. I find these copper and enamel pieces so pretty that I could not resist the tongue-in-cheek name.
Selene The sickle and half-moon shapes of these pieces are the origin for the name Selene, the Greek Lunar deity.
Natural history and science inspired jewelry Naturalist My penchant for the natural sciences, macro photography and fossil hunting pastimes makes it inevitable to have pieces inspired by insects, flowers and the natural world.
Star finder Humans were drawn to the night sky from the beginning and these wearable pieces of art reflects the shapes we've imagined in the stars.
My other ranges are named for a certain style or shape. Medallion Domed and hammered copper and bronze earrings, necklaces and bracelets.
Basic shapes Ovals, circles and toroid shaped enamel and metal pieces.
