Cheesy? I know!
I'll be real with you... I'm not much! I don't measure up to the worlds standards of wealth, beauty or success. But... I am, without a doubt, excited about being me! I'm not interested in becoming something different for everyone else. Such behavior seems a little backwards to me. When my attention is captured by remarkable moments, I pause, study it, and allow myself to take in the good and useful parts. I look forward to each changing season and next stage of life. I can't help it. I'm just an optimist! I have lived over half my life in Alaska. The beauty and majesty of it all is without equal! I love it here. I am also blessed to be the mommy of two incredible boys. They are my true treasure.
Along with my personal art in the studio, I am also a conference artist, meaning that I also paint live during special meetings. I just started an art worship team with two other artists this year (2011) called Art Is WORSHIP. We paint live and teach creative workshops.
I have never attended an art school. Interestingly enough, I have learned a lot about how to paint and create through my quiet times with my Heavenly Father, and through my incredibly artistic parents who instilled in me the passion to create.
