I joined etsy in July 2007 and set up shop in November 2008.

I love everything about designing and sewing clothing, quilts and many other items. This is my creative outlet in my "playtime". During "worktime", I'm a research assistant involved in studying obesity and diabetes. And I'm a mom all the time (that's the best time!).

I also love our Earth and try my best to help the environment, like through recycling and reducing my carbon footprint. My studio/home's electricity comes from wind power (through our utility company, not a wind turbine in the...

My studio/home's electricity comes from wind power (through our utility company, not a wind turbine in the backyard-unfortunately!)! I also recycle all my fabric scraps which my local recycle center turns into insulation.
