I am a self-taught artist who began painting in Los Angeles in 1999. Two years later I moved to Iowa City, IA, where I painted by day and tended bar by night. I now live in Tacoma, WA, where I work on commissions as well as my own series, in between playing with my baby boy and working on my writing. I have had a number of one-woman shows, had the great privilege of being part of many group shows, and was recently a finalist in an exhibition at Gallery 181 in Lawrence, MA. I am also proud to say three of my works have graced bottles of award-winning wine from the fabulous Harbinger Winery ( www.harbingerwinery.com ). I paint in acrylic, as well as collage with just about any material I can get my hands on.
