When I'm not working my day job, I love to create and experiment. I grew up watching my grandma sew and getting fitted for the cutest dresses she made me and my sisters. I also had a great set of neighbors who taught me how to cross-stitch and crochet as a little kid. I've just been introduced to felting thrifted materials by Betz White (http://blog.betzwhite.com) and am enthralled with it. The versatility this medium offers is so awesome. I currently do all of my sewing on my great-grandmother's Singer. It's not that fancy, but it's simple, and that works just fine for me!
