Jean Macaluso's Profile

About

I have been creating 'things' for as long as I can remember- from mud pies at 6 years old to quilts, ceramics, and most recently photography. My grandmother instilled a love of craft when she taught me to crochet, with patience, as she was right handed and I am left handed. My father let me use his Pentax 35 mm camera at 11 and that began my love affair with photography.

I graduated from Dickinson College as a non-traditional student in 2005 with a BA in Art and Art History and this was one of the hardest things to do, all while raising 3 children, 2 dogs, 3 horses, and caring for 9 acres with my best friend--my husband.

My business is Jean Macaluso Fine Art, featuring black & white and color photography and an Art Leasing program featuring serene landscape photographs on canvas.
