According to my mom, I was drawing before I could even speak. On most days, that still holds true...at least until I've had my coffee!
I live in Hollywood, California with my fiancé and our pup, where I spend most days with pen in hand listening to jazz or my dad's old Elvis and Johnny Cash records.
When I'm not drawing, I'm cooking, hiking, or burying my nose in a book, not a reading device...I'm old school!

My little shop started because I needed gifts for friends and family that were fun and had a personal touch, so I put pen to paper and made them! I started to think, if I need or want these items, maybe other people out there do too! And Jo Bozarth Illustration was born.
I enjoy being able to work with buyers to make my art their art. My restroom signs are color customizable, and the text on my typewriters is customizable. Art is a reflection of the person creating it, and through this collaboration these pieces become a reflection of the buyer. I love that.
