Giggle with us as you enjoy our super fun and unique handmade designs! I'm a Mama of 3 fantastic monster babes (5, 3, newborn) / wife to a super husband, super geek, and U.S. Air Force veteran / a professional Programmer and Website Developer / packleader to 2 German Shepherd Dogs / and I personally design, sketch, photograph, and exclusively sew all of the handmade super cool clothing and accessories in our children's boutique. Good times!! :D
When I'm not being summoned as "Mamaaaaaa!!!", I'm Sandra, a born and raised New Yorker of Greek and Latina heritage. My clothing line is all handmade by me, from start to finish. I design the items, create my own patterns, sew the clothing, take the photos, wrap your packages, and then the Hubbs Joe is off to the post office.
My clothing line is colorful and fun, modern, fresh, hip, urban, bohemian, retro, funky and chic with an International flair...all influences of growing up in the cultural melting pot of Queens, NYC - where my heart belongs - and also my time living abroad, in Athens, Greece. In addition to some other countries, continents, and islands traveled.
My clothing designs are first and foremost inspired by my children - my beautiful babies.
I've also been influenced and inspired by a decade of working in the corporate world of Manhattan - on Fashion Ave, 5th Ave, SoHo, and Wall Street. The sights, the smells, the sounds and everything multi-culttural about the amazing New York City and Empire State are all a part of who I am, and today those experiences can be seen in my children's clothing designs.
I grew up in a wonderful and creative family of DIY'ers, seamstresses, knitters, crocheters, cross-stitchers, upholsterers, and entrepreneurs.
I love all things vintage, retro, and modern - and of course photography and design - travel, beautiful illustrations, original oil paintings and sketches, digital art prints, comfy quilts, gorgeous knits and crochet, paper happiness, and anything textile goodness. Which means I definitely love Etsy!
My greatest love is my family...the hubbs Joe, my 3 children, and furry babies are the reasons behind all the clothing I make and the photos I take.
