About

Chinese watercolor painting was suggested to me a few years ago by a friend. I'm so very glad it was. It has allowed me to create new flowers and birds, to paint wonderfully quiet places under trees, to explore the many different types of Bamboo.
About a year ago I decided to try painting dragons. Dragons have so many wonderful qualities. It is great fun exploring all the many facets of a dragon. Each one gives a tiny peek into the mysterious dragon. It is especially a treat for me to be painting dragons in the Chinese year of the Black Dragon. I wake up everyday looking forward to creating my next painting.
