Originally from Boise, Idaho, I grew up skateboarding and snowboarding and have always had a fascination with the chaotic way human interaction altered the appearance of objects. Working in skate shops I learned to tell a lot about what type of skater someone was by the marks on the bottom of their board. Each one tells a different story. Each piece of furniture becomes a playful storyboard of human activity.

Over the years I have experimented with a wide variety of recycled materials and sporting goods to construct a visually striking furniture line that's both colorful and comfortable. There is a constant push in all of my work to use recycled materials and eliminate waste wherever possible.
