Kat Goldin's Profile
The woman who taught me how to crochet had blue hair, talked about Vanna White like she was a personal friend and made these amazing acrylic technicolour blankets in shades of neon that my brother and I referred to as "Nightmare Blankets". I am certain I sniggered behind her back at her Barbie Doll toilet paper covers as well.
But she taught me any way. And those basic skills were unearthed shortly after my oldest son was born. I needed to be able to show that I had actually "done" something with myself at the end of a long day with a baby.
The rest, as they say, is history. A hobby turned into a passion turned into a job. I love making things. I love photographing things. I love craft.
My first book Crochet At Play with Kyle Books is out April 2013
