About

I graduated from Siena College in 2003 with BA in Psychology and minor in writing. I also have a Master's Degree in Creative Arts Therapy from Hofstra University. About

I graduated from Siena College in 2003 with BA in Psychology and minor in writing. I also have a Master's Degree in Creative Arts Therapy from Hofstra University. Long story short: I have been doing SOMETHING creative since I could hold a crayon: drawing, photography, writing stories and poems, painting, scrapbooking, collage . . . you name it. I also have an insane love for architecture and interior design. If I ever won the lottery the first thing I would do (after I paid off all my student loans) would be to buy a plane ticket to Rome.

My favorite medium is charcoal. Minimalist still imagery & abstract expressionism are favorite styles to work within. I am very inspired by the idea of Jung's Collective Unconscious, and as a result I mostly render archetypal and symbolic imagery.

As much as I do adore the simple, minimalist rendered image on a blank sheet of paper I am hoping in the future to work on more of my own original imagery. I have ideas, lots of ideas. But making these visions a reality is much easier said than done when I spend the entire day chasing a toddler around the house.

Speaking of toddlers, if you are looking for my pitter.patter.print collection it can now be found at www.etsy.com/shop/pitterpatterprint
