I have an unquenchable thirst for knowledge and I love a challenge! My parents and my family have a wide variety of interests, passions, and activities, and so do I.

My #1 passion is certainly my family and friends. My #2 passion would have to be music: I sing, play piano, and play harp. #3 passion pretty much encompasses everything else: finding creative ways to express myself, save money, organize my life, and maybe even make a little money. :)

The origami started with a book that my parents had when I was growing up. I learned from the book how to make the basics: cranes, flowers, etc. Years later I came across a book that had instructions for much more difficult modular pieces, like the stars I sell in my shop. Through some trial and error and a fair amount of 'scrap' paper, I honed my skills. :) These modular stars require a great deal of time and patience, but meticulous work like this has always appealed to me. I love the finished look of these stars. They make beautiful holiday decorations, Christmas tree ornaments, keepsakes, you name it. I even used them as centerpieces at my own wedding.
