About

After growing up in Pennsylvania I moved to the Boston area 15 years ago, where I now live with my husband Charlie, daughter Molly, son Benjamin and two cats, Franklin and Zoey.

I have degrees in both Graphic Design and Fine Arts. Following several years working in the marketing field, I gave birth to my daughter, and decided it was time to stop reserving my crafty passions for Sunday afternoons and begin turning it into a potential business (thanks Etsy!).

I have bins, baskets and cupboards filled with paper, yarn, ribbon, beads, every craft tool known to man, found objects, squirreling away anything that I might one day use to create, well... anything! I have always loved art and have been creating for as long as I can remember. I lose all track of time when I am making something and it is very satisfying...

I lose all track of time when I am making something and it is very satisfying.

I attribute my own creativity to growing up in the 80s without much TV. Nature was my playground and it continues to inspire and influence my designs.

Where does the name Almost Sunday come from? Prior to starting this little business back in 2008, I had a 9-5 desk job. It was a fine enough job, but it was not my passion, not what I longed to do. So I would reserve my creative pursuits for Sunday... that glorious day of the week where things seem to slow down, pajamas stay on, coffee mugs are filled up, and the paper, scissors, yarn, beads come out to play. And now, every day is Sunday for me.

Thanks for stopping in!
