I've gone from journalist to designer, but that doesn't mean I've lost my story telling roots. Welcome to Kim Last Designs (or KLD for short) - a line of sterling silver jewelry where every piece tells a story.
It started out as New Year's resolution - to stay off the computer and do something a bit more creative than your standard job in media. Jewelry was one of the constants on my list of loves. I took the plunge and enrolled in classes in Jan. 2009, and had set up my very own etsy shop 6 months later. Cheers to New Years resolutions you can keep.
I'm a born and bred New Yorker - and I wouldn't have it any other way. I find a lot of inspiration from the people, places and random happenings of my day job in media. By day,I still have a gig in media and on nights and weekends, I work on new pieces and marketing my work to new eyes.
