My husband Dana & I started making our wooden calendar holders in 1988 while at the same time raising our 3 young kids at our country home in Maine. Our kids helped with stenciling and assembly and were dragged around to craft shows all over New England! We are grandparents now and thanks to sites like Etsy, we don't have to do craft shows anymore. But we do keep in touch with our loyal customers who call us every year to place orders for their calendar refills and buy other holders as gifts for friends and family.
