About

I like color.
I like biology.
I like graffiti.
I like to visit foreign lands.
I like kitsch.
I like pattern.
I like depth and layers....

I like blending these concepts in my work.
And, most of all, I like the idea of others living with my art!

I am a painter living and working in New York City, and have exhibited my large-format paintings here in New York and internationally for many years.

Most recently, I have collaborated for a second time with Brooklyn designer, Ann Yee, to create a print for her upcoming collection for Fall 2013 that will be featured during New York's Fashion Week.

I have also paired with indie designer (with Brooklyn roots), Hayden-Harnett, as the artist-in-residence in their Greenpoint store and showroom. For the last four years, I have shown my larger paintings as display throughout Barneys in midtown Manhattan - known the world over for its avant garde displays and amazingly fashionable merchandise (Barneys). Here on Etsy, I am selling my smaller and more affordable pieces.

I love to use color in order to create odd combinations, and am inspired by common everyday things; fashion, fabrics, geometric patterns, retro wallpaper, biological forms, my travels, and the colorful, billowy look of graffiti; I mix all of these concepts together in my paintings.

Photography is also one of my passions, and I bring my camera with me everywhere I go. Eventually, I may sell my own greeting cards and holiday cards (again) featuring the photographs that I've been capturing over the years. Some of the fascinating places I've visited include: Morocco, Italy, Greece, Portugal, France, Germany, Spain, Finland, Poland, Russia, and Romania.
