About

An English native, I came to the United States in 2003, where I have been busy woodcarving, instrument-building, practising music, formatting e-books, creating digital artwork, painting and tidying up after my family.
I graduated from the Suffolk College in 1982 with vocational and academic diplomas in graphic design and subsequently worked for the Type Bureau and the Cambridge University Press among others.
Materials? Wood - when you see a newly cut limb with the bark removed you suddenly understand how much it is alive. And working with it you can make it live again in a new form. Paint - just lovely stuff to push around! Light - the medium of the digital artist, tricky to handle, but immensely rewarding with astonishing possibilities.
