Thanks for popping by. Most of my photo subjects are toys and treasures dug up from the dust in thrift stores and vintage shops. Inspired by the decorative dino, Kosmoceratops, I use my ancient camera and picture these forgotten treasures in a new life.
All of my photos are captured using the Through the Viewfinder (TTV) photographic technique. I love this technique because it combines using both the old and the new. The process involves two cameras, a 1950’s Kodak Duaflex and modern digital camera. The final artwork has a square shape with a small rounded black border reminiscent of vintage film photography.
I started mounting my photos to wood blocks last year as alternative framing process for the unique square shape. All wood blocks are made from local reclaimed hardwood. Each piece…
