My name is Kristen. I am a happily married, empty- nesting mom of three twenty-somethings and I work as a paraeducator in an elementary school. I live in a small artsy town in Vermont where I sing in my church choir. I didn't do much with my fine arts degree until I took some wonderful classes in beadweaving, PMC, and silver fabrication and began making jewelry. Then a co-worker gave me a small kiln and enamels and I started teaching myself to enamel on copper. It is a magical process where powered glass is sifted onto metal and put in a kiln to melt. You never know what is going to come out of that kiln! I am inspired by my husband's colorful flower gardens and the gorgeous Vermont countryside. I hope you like my jewelry!
