About
Hailing from the German rich land of south western Ohio Lauren was raised in the tree lane roads of Oakwood. She then as a young adult she migrated south to the city of Canoas in Southern Brazil were she played and danced with the locals and learned a new outlook on life. With her new knowledge she went north to Detroit, no one was sure the reason for that choice but it seemed so that she could at...tend art school in the big city. At CCS she learned about painting and all the possibilities of art, and started a relationship with traditional oil painting. Upon graduating she explored the country as an adult driving between both coasts and soon found herself selling fruit on the side of the road in Alaska. After another brief couple years in Detroit, Lauren has now settled her life in Oakland, CA!!!
