About
I have always loved nature. I grew up in a small town and my parent's house was on 4 acres of land, a good portion of which was wooded and included a small brook. My sisters and I would often go out in the woods and explore the brook looking for animal tracks and any other interesting things we could find. I also loved feeding the birds in winter and learning all the names of every bird that arrived to have a meal. I started getting into photography in college when I was originally going to study to become an interior designer. A studio arts professor suggested I try photography because I loved nature and she thought I might enjoy capturing it in photographs. I ended up graduating with a BFA in Photography and have been enjoying photographing nature ever since!
