About

An enrolled member of the Native American Kickapoo Tribe of Kansas, I am of Kickapoo and Potawatomi descent. I began beading as soon as my mother could keep me from eating the pony beads I first started working with.
I started teaching bead-work classes as a teenager, and taught myself to work with wire in in 1985, continuing to hone my skills over the years.
Thanks to my parents, I am also an avid photographer. My favorite subject is the Aurora Borealis, but I enjoy shooting my finished pieces, and the work of friends, as much as I enjoy creating them! I also love capturing the beauty that surrounds me in the great state of Alaska, as well as digitally restoring the treasured heirloom memories from the collections of friends and family.
