I'm Nichole. I'm a writer, photographer the author of the best-selling book, Paris in Color (Chronicle Books, April 2012). I co-run Obvious State--a multi-disciplinary creative studio--with my husband Evan.

The shop contains a selection of prints from The Paris Color Project which began in 2009. The project celebrates the city’s intimate details often overshadowed by iconic landmarks, and offers candid glimpses of the thoughtful craftsmanship, pedestrian pleasures and gracefully worn textures that cumulatively capture the unmistakable charm of Paris.The entire, three-year project is chronicled on my blog at: obviousstate.com.
