Beadweaving is an exacting art. Done with needle and thread, each tiny seed bead is added individually. One by one, I weave between 2,000 and 4,000 seed beads together to produce a single bracelet or necklace. Each beadwoven piece of jewelry you see in my shop took between 4 and 8 hours to create - it is definitely a labor of love!
I began my love affair with all things bead-related in 1999, when I made my first seedbead loomed piece. I became obsessed with those tiny, glowing orbs - I couldn't stop beading!
I eventually branched out to semi-precious gemstones and wirework, but my first - and most abiding - love is for seedbeads. I only wish I could bead faster! I have so many ideas for projects that I'll have to live to 100 (and keep the eyesight of a teenager) to complete them all!
