*** A Letter regarding Shop Closing ***
Hello to my past customers, blog readers, Etsy team members, and all who have supported my craft:
I am writing to let you know that I will be closing my Etsy Shop.
First, thank you to everyone for purchasing handmade goods from Lost Mitten and supporting my crafty endeavors. I opened my Etsy Shop over three and a half years ago and it has been such an amazing experience. I have met so many wonderful people through my craft and it has been so much fun coming up with new and original ideas for my shop. It is awesome to know that so many other people out there share my love of craft and video games.
I have decided to close my Etsy Shop to pursue other interests - however, this definitely doesn't mean that I will stop crafting and creating! I will continue to update this blog and my Flickr account, so stay tuned!

Thank you so much once again for supporting me - it has been a wonderful few years and I look forward to staying involved in the online crafting community!

Old Profile:
Hello! Welcome to the Lost Mitten Etsy Shop! My name is Lauren and I am from Brantford, Ontario, Canada. Each item in the Lost Mitten Etsy Shop is lovingly handmade by me. The designs and concepts for the creations are a collaboration between myself and my fiance, Paul. My shop has been open since September 2006.
I'm a huge video game addict, ranging from the early days of the Atari and Nintendo to the latest games for the Wii and Nintendo DS. I am continually inspired by my love for video games in creating many of my original crafts.
The video game items in my shop are all highly unique and original - I came up with all of the ideas on my own. I continually try to be creative by crafting new and interesting items for my shop.
In addition to video games, I love to knit and crochet! I also love to make journals and paper crafts, needlepoint, pinback buttons, and pinback button jewelry.
I hope that you enjoy the items in my shop, and that they make a wonderful gift for yourself or someone that you love!
Lost Mitten is proud to have been featured: on CNN, Business Week, Craft:, Technabob, Kotaku, German Games Culture Magazine, in the print book "I Love Handicraft", plus a variety of other sites & blogs - thank you so much for your features!
